Apr 30, I'm stuck in Japan right now and am going off of my poor memmory. If you get under the gas tank by jacking up the rear end-and use jack stands for safety-I was able to see and get to the bullet connecter from the sending unit to wire harness. Pull the connetor apart.

MG Midget and Sprite Technical - Electrical temp gauge Hi all, Slowly getting round to some other bits and bobs while I wait for suspension bits, i noticed that after being laid up for the winter, the temp gauge has given up. I have tried earthing the wire from the sensor and the gauge did nothing, i presume this means gauge? Or could there be another contributing factor? Could be a bad connection somewhere behind the dash.
Hi gang, scenario is, short trip out at the weekend, with the gauge reading half a tank, then on the way back it reads permanently full. Mines a with a new tank from a year or two back. I cannot imagine I didn't change the sender too, but somethings not quite right. Back of the gauge sees both wires attached.
